Partner visa (onshore) (subclass 820/801) Temporary, then permanent
For the partner or spouse of an Australian, applying from within Australia. You make one application for both; the temporary 820 is granted first, then the permanent 801.

Partner visa (offshore) (subclass 309/100) Provisional, then permanent
For the partner or spouse of an Australian, applying from outside Australia. You make one application for both; the provisional 309 is granted first, then the permanent 100.

Prospective Marriage visa (subclass 300) Temporary
For the fiance or fiancee of an Australian, to travel to Australia and marry, then apply for a partner visa.

Contributory Parent visa (subclass 143) Permanent
For the parent of a settled Australian to live in Australia permanently. Other parent, child and remaining-relative visas exist; see the Home Affairs family visa list.
