Who we are

VisaMatch (visamatch.com.au) is an independent directory that helps people in Australia find a registered migration agent or an immigration lawyer. We are not a migration agent or a law firm, we give no immigration or legal advice, and we take no part in your matter.

Information we collect

You can search and browse the directory without giving us any personal information. We collect personal information only when you choose to send it to us through an enquiry form or the “get matched” form. That information is:

• your name;
• your email address;
• your phone number (optional);
• anything you write in the free-text field describing your situation.

The free-text field is optional and under your control. Please share only what you are comfortable sending. It can include sensitive information — for example details about your visa status, relationships, health, or country of origin — so consider how much detail you include, and avoid sending documents or identity numbers through this form.

How we use your information

We use the details you submit to respond to your enquiry and, where you have asked to be matched, to put you in touch with practitioners from the directory. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who your information is shared with

When you submit a form, the data is transmitted to and processed by Formspree, Inc., a form-handling service based in the United States, which delivers it to us by email. This means your information is disclosed to, and stored by, a service provider outside Australia. Formspree processes it under its own privacy terms, which we do not control; we encourage you to review them. We may also pass relevant enquiry details to the specific practitioner you have asked to contact.

Our website and third parties

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. As part of serving those fonts, your device’s IP address is sent to Google. We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Practitioner listings

The professionals listed on VisaMatch are compiled from Australia’s official public registers (the OMARA register of migration agents and the state and territory legal profession registers). Each listing shows which register it was checked against and when. If you are a listed practitioner and want your details corrected or removed, email us at admin@visamatch.com.au and we will action it.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and copies may remain with Formspree under its retention terms. To ask what we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email admin@visamatch.com.au.

Your choices and contact

You can contact us at any time about your personal information at admin@visamatch.com.au. You may ask us to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, email us at the same address and we will work with you to resolve it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this page, and the effective date above will show when it last changed.
